Programming, Job Search, and Fortress

I think the CSS is a little better on this post. I updated it to make it support dark mode. The html has an issue with using <pre>, though I like the style for editing. It keeps the tabs and whitespace from nvim.

Anyway, some life updates. Our friend went home after her flight got cancelled TWICE. Having her over made me realize how badly I wanted social interactions. This weekend, I have Pathfinder 2e at a public library. REALLY nervous, it's supposed to be this new player teaching game. I volunteered to DM because I have been DMing for years. Still really terrified of making myself look silly.

C++ learning has been...okay? I got nvim configured to use the clangd LSP. Additionally, I got compile.nvim working with a .clangd file and a CMakeLists.txt file. I did "Hello World" and played around with user input. Highly considering Hytale modding, though I think that's in Java. It would be cool to make a Civ-style server and have people join it on Hytale. Would be good for motivation.

On the jobs side of thing, I got in contact with an old college friend of mine to act as a professional reference. I applied to a few places through JobToday. Tomorrow I'm gonna go door to door with my resume. Spent today editing it and getting it printed. Progress is...slow. I kinda wasted Monday and Tuesday. I feel like I'm failing Jess.

Uhhh...final notes I suppose. I joined a new Minecraft civ server. A new one, called Fortress. It has some weird changes, like Namelayers being replaced by keys. Oh, and on CivMC we're nearly at Advanced Cauldron xp recipes for Zorweth. I think playing it last night with my girlfriend was really good for me.

Love you all, and I'll be working on some little scripts to make getting updates easier to see.

Moooooo~
